Flyer Bad Berleburger Traditional Markets 2019

Traditional markets are a common thread throughout the year of the event calendar in Bad Berleburg. Tradition and the region are always the focus of the colorful activity. The beginning in May is the Wollmarkt, among other things. The sheep will loose their winter fur live on the market square. In September, the Wittgensteiner Holzmarkt will take place every three years. This is where the wide range of wood is presented. Erntedank and Brotmarkt are celebrated in October, because then the local country youth decorates harvest carts again and the baking house communities fire the furnaces. On the weekend for the third advent, the Christmas trip of the city gives a distinctive spell: the Christmas time trip for the whole family goes from the medieval age to the baroque and Biedermeier to the here and now.

Flyer Via Celtica
